American Civics Snapshots is dedicated to enhancing civic understanding through media.
We focus on non-partisan approaches to promoting knowledge in the public. Our content enriches awareness in history, economics, and civic processes.
We are distributing cards containing lessons in basic civics, distributed through our social impact partners during 2026 in order to bring American adults the information they need to understand their government.
What does American Civics Snapshots do?
American Civics Snapshots is a non-profit project which uses donor dollars to create public service advertisements to bring civics and economics concepts to the general public.
Our funding is used to partner with content creators, and purchase ad time on broadcast and streaming services.
ACS provides guidance to the content creators so that they can make appealing and effective micro-lessons, then evaluate the effectiveness of these ads shown on the various outlets.
